This Privacy Notice explains how The AI Handyman LLC ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares personal information in connection with Blueprinted (the "Service"). We act as the data controller for the information described below.

1. Information we collect

• Proposal inputs — names, business names, email address, project details, brand assets (logo, colors), and any other content you enter into the proposal generator.
• Purchase email — if you provide an email address at checkout, we store it to send your download link and as a record of the purchase.
• Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, and basic analytics, collected automatically when you use the Service.
• Payment data — handled directly by our payment provider (Paddle). We do not see or store your card details.

2. How we use information

• To generate and deliver your proposal and PDF download.
• To process your purchase, issue receipts, and provide customer support.
• To operate, secure, and improve the Service (e.g. detect abuse, debug errors).
• To comply with legal obligations such as tax and accounting.

3. Legal basis

We process personal information on the basis of (a) performance of a contract — to deliver the Service you purchased; (b) our legitimate interests — to operate, secure, and improve the Service; and (c) compliance with legal obligations.

4. Who we share information with

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, manages subscriptions and refunds, calculates and remits applicable taxes, and issues invoices.
• Service providers — hosting, database, email delivery, AI inference, and analytics tooling that helps us run the Service. They are bound by data-processing agreements and only act on our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal and accounting professionals where necessary.
• Authorities — when required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.

5. Data retention

Blueprinted is a one-off tool, so we keep as little as we can. Proposal content you enter (client name, project details, quote items, etc.) is automatically deleted 30 days after purchase — long enough for you to re-download your file from the link in your receipt, then it's gone. Basic purchase records (your email, the amount paid, currency, payment processor transaction ID, and timestamps) are kept longer because tax and accounting rules require us to hold financial records for several years.

6. Your rights

If privacy laws like the GDPR (UK/EU), CCPA (California) or similar apply where you live, you can ask us to: show you what personal information we have about you, correct it, delete it, send you a copy, or stop using it for certain things. To make a request, contact us at theaihandyman.ai. If you live in the UK or EU and think we've mishandled your data, you can also file a complaint with your country's data protection regulator.

7. International transfers

Personal information may be processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and provider audits — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, but we work to safeguard your data.

9. Cookies

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to operate the Service (for example, session and CSRF protection). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date.
